RYAN Zhu Jiankang (Qi Yuwu) is left with legs of uneven lengths and walks with an abnormal gait. Cheng Kaixin (Fiona Xie), is a bright and lively girl who has loved Jiankang like her own big brother since young.

Ding Wenhui (Chen Hanwei) is a charming and successful young Singaporean man. Wenhui works in an advertising firm. He and Kaixin fall for each other and become a couple.

When their relationship comes to light, RYAN was devastated. RYAN tells himself that his handicap will never put him in the same league as the charismatic Wenhui, and thus silently wishes them well.
