MA DE...Day 1 of my lonely holidays and I was being caught by the police. What a start to celebrate the first day of my loner vacation. Does heaven really want to make a fool out of me?
It all started like this......
On the 27 may 2006, 6 loners met up at Jurong point to have our loners' outing. As usual, they played their favourite arcade game initial d at Star Factory. I know playing such a game is quite being a loser, but it somehows allows us to forget our loneliness, momentarily. In no time, we used up all our tokens and walk out of jp.
It was about 10.15pm. None of us felt like going home so we decided to proceed to the nearby ART PARK to play basketball. Although the lamps were off at the basketball court, it didnt stop us from playing at all. We knew that playing basketball was prohibited after 10pm, but who cares?
Halfway during our game, one of us spotted a police car approaching. As we were about to leave the basketball court, at the distance away, 2 policeman were walking towards the court. Immediately, we seperated ourselves into 2 groups and 3 of us broke into a run. However, 2 of my frens from the other group was stopped by 1 of the police, leaving the other police in hot pursuit. In the end, we stopped our run. We surrendered, but 1 of us managed to escape.
We handed over our ICs to the police and we were asked to squat down in a row. How disgraceful this could be. The police then said "Then why u run? If you run that means you are guilty of something. stealing or robbing.. When you young got play police and thief or not ? Whose the one who is always running from the police ? " Then proceeded to add, "You know when you run i have the authority to use my baton on you ? There are 3 of you and one of me , all the more reason to use my baton and hammer!!"
Our particulars were taken down. They let us off with a stern warning. Then our friend who escaped finally dare to show up.
Haha. This is the second time that I was stopped by a police. But this time, it was more serious as I was being chased by them. Maybe I wont be that lucky the next time.
